From Cramant, the house's favorite terroir, with a blend of vines ranging from 40 to 100 years old, 4 years in the cellar and the precision of the house style, this wine is superb. The wine's deep gold color is fresh and lively, with very fine, rapid bubbles. The nose reveals aromas of fresh brioche, apple, pear, kiwi, hawthorn, honeysuckle, immortelle and, of course, the chalky minerality of Cramant. Supple and honeyed on the attack, then lively with a tangy, thirst-quenching texture thanks to fine, impetuous bubbles, this champagne delivers a very lemon marmalade finish, with a very long aftertaste. Enjoy on its own or with a scallop and lemon risotto.
