This pure crimson, produced in a sunny vintage and only now coming onto the market, is particularly accomplished, but still has great potential. The nose plays with complexity, finesse and restraint. Notes of preserved lemon and chalk blend happily together. On the palate, the generosity of the vintage in no way diminishes the freshness and chalky tension. Superb breed and immense length conclude this tasting. An example of the vintage, generous, inviting and racy.
