An 8.3-hectare family estate on the slopes of Avize, where Anselme and Corinne Selosse welcome visitors to their hotel-restaurant Les Avisé, above the cellars. Sharing has long been fundamental to Anselme, who has been a mentor to a whole new generation of winemakers in Champagne (and beyond!). For over a dozen years, Anselme has been managing his estate, which has become a cult around the world, using a Burgundian approach and biodynamic-inspired methods. He claims to be a "righteous gesture", while refusing to get bogged down in the logic of labeling. Since 2010, he has been offering a series of "lieu-dit" champagnes, blending vintages according to the solera principle, to better detect the true typicity of terroir. A cult label and wines beyond compare. Guillaume Selosse recently took over management of the estate.
