Another royal color for this pure 2009 with a large Chardonnay dominant. The nose is superlatively fine, reminiscent of herbal and fruit infusions, with notes of verbena, lime blossom, fresh fruit, dried fruit, toasted almonds and a host of other aromas. On the palate, the balance between smoothness, roundness and freshness is just right. A succulent wine, at once greedy and complex, rooty and mineral.
