An incredibly intense color and fine, almost microscopic, but very active bubbles open the tasting of this vintage over 10 years old. The nose, as is often the case in this House, is superb, with notes of frangipane and dried apricot, and a delicate spicy sweetness, all too rare in this region. On the palate, the wine is carried by the bubbles that caress the palate. The wine's substance and presence are remarkable. The finish, with its lovely bitters, is extremely long. A sublime 2006!
