A 2010 that opens with finely toasted, toasted, peanut and praline aromas, on a background of pear, mirabelle plum and white chalk. On aeration, beautiful notes of plum and candied grapes emerge. The palate is delicious: the wine's structure is more lengthy than broad, and its fruit unfurls like little rotating clouds of flavors that follow a straight, taut direction to the back of the throat, circling around this axis. The final bitters are coated in minerality. A real treat.
