Wild strawberry, wild blackberry and juicier white-fleshed fruit aromas share a fresh, gourmand nose, enhanced by richer notes of brioche and sponge cake. Rose petals add an extra touch of tenderness. The richness of the vintage is fully expressed on the palate, with a round, fleshy body that deserved no dosage. Minerality and delightful little bitters lift the finish, which lingers for a long time and makes you salivate as you wait to sit down to dinner with a roasted white fish, a pâté en croûte Richelieu or, more simply, a grilled shellfish.
