What creaminess! What tenderness! The nose is all roundness and delicacy, with elegant aromas of ripe white fruit, spices (cinnamon, black pepper, nutmeg) and almond milk, refreshed by a touch of pear sorbet. Between sweet licorice notes, a chalky feel and tension, the palate is straightforward and sunny, even if the years have taken their toll. On the finish, the minerality and saltiness, sprinkled with a pinch of Espelette pepper, are comforting.
