Gault&Millau's review 2025

A former coaching inn where the kings of France stopped off before their coronation in the Basilica of Reims, this address was, in the 1970s, one of the most prestigious in the Champagne region. After an eclipse, it regained its prestige in 2018, under the impetus of the founders of the Champagne Hospitality group, who signed an ambitious project, backed by the Leading Hotels of the World collection. The original building is now flanked by a contemporary wing that opens onto the immensity of the vineyards, giving the place an incredible sense of space... From the lobby housing a library and lounge, to the Le Bellevue bistro, whose spectacular terrace overlooks the vegetable garden; to the spa of some 1,500 m2 with two pools and treatments by myBlend and Clarins Precious. Last but not least, the 47 rooms and suites boast a pure luxury, with noble materials (stone, marble, wood), 5-star bedding and, once again, sumptuous views over the vineyards and meandering Marne river.
