It's always a pleasure to taste this cuvée from the Lanson range. It has a very pastry-like, gourmet bouquet of sour cream, mirabelle plum tart, praline and leather. Time on laths brings both complexity and bonhomie. On the palate, the bubbles are softened and delicate, the body dense and cottony. The creamy finish, with a hint of kumquat, makes a fine match with scallop risotto.

Founded in 1760, Lanson is the fourth oldest Champagne house. Drawing on a family heritage and unique know-how, it is the love of a job well done and attention to others that has guided the men and women of the house for over 260 years. The unique and authentic style of the wines is based on a meticulous selection of crus, a rare collection of reserve wines and prolonged maturation in the cellar. Cellar master Hervé Dantan carefully crafts wines characterized by freshness, fruitiness and inimitable vitality. As for the cellars, they house a collection of vintages dating back to 1904, undoubtedly one of the finest in Champagne.
