An address for those nostalgic for châteaux, who will also appreciate the 7-hectare park surrounding the residence. After a succession of rooms with old parquet floors, wood panelling and fireplaces, this slightly dark décor is brightened by Sophie Leclerc's smile and friendliness, while her husband Cyril works with the season. The menu-card is €130 excluding desserts (€35): for €15 more, we opted for the 7-course "Impression" menu at €180. After the amuse-bouche, green asparagus, watercress and smoked condiment, a succulent Arctic char confit at 49°, smoked trout roe and lovage accompanied by a crayfish-trout roe tartlet, beautiful and classic stuffed morels in yellow wine sauce, pig's trotter and escargot gyozas ; the mastery is evident in the Quercy lamb, peas, black garlic and perfumed juice; we finish with strawberries, cream, lime, hibiscus and the second milky chocolate, hazelnut crumble, vanilla, miso. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the hostess is on hand to advise you on how to explore the extensive, albeit classic, but gourmet wine list.
