Gault&Millau's review 2025

Just a stone's throw from the Tronçais forest, this 19th-century château lies at the heart of a 40-hectare park that includes stables with 26 boxes, a covered riding arena and beautiful outbuildings surrounding the outdoor swimming pool. Converted into a hotel in 1998, it houses 19 charming rooms and suites with waxed parquet floors, antique furniture and large windows opening onto the gardens. The relaxation area, with sauna and hammam, offers a wide range of treatments and massages. A perfect break after a bike ride in the forest or a horse-riding lesson given by the team of instructors, who also organize sessions for children at the estate's pony club.
