Gault&Millau's review 2026

It's always a good idea to plan your visit to l'Agastache for the evening, given the long reservation times. This is understandable when you taste Alexis Lauriac's bistronomic dishes, which are at once elaborate, creative and refined. We enjoyed a high-flying foie gras imitation with cashew nuts and raw mushrooms in duxelles, all flavored with ponzu sauce, followed by a pleasant octopus with butternut flattered by the roundness of parmesan and a veal with crosnes drizzled with a herring sauce of superb depth. For dessert, truffles are always an eye-catcher, combined with hazelnuts and sudachi in a highly original combination. All included in menus at €42 or €50 in the evening, with a fine but short wine list. Impatient diners can turn to the lunch menus at the unbeatable prices of €28 and €35, always at the same high level of quality.
