Gourmet Restaurant Julien Bedu (ex Tilleuls in Vincelottes) and Thomas Poirier (ex Villa Florentine pastry chef in Lyon), who have quickly become a firm favorite with the Auxerrois community, offer a new and interesting menu. The cuisine is interesting, with a traditional, local backdrop, and well-crafted combinations: bouchée à l'escargot poitrine de veau sauce blanquette, truite de Crisenon artichoke pesto ail des ours, épaule d'agneau confite et pois chiches, fraise sablé beurre thym citron in a well-balanced €37 menu that leaves plenty of choice. Neat, uncluttered surroundings, well-stocked cellar with a wide choice of Yonne wines at attractive prices.
