Gault&Millau's review 2025

Marieke and Rik Klomp, a Dutch couple, were seduced by this historic residence and restored it, carefully preserving its half-timbering, large fireplaces and old floor tiles... Not to mention the 7-hectare park, classified as a Remarkable Garden, which includes a rose garden, a vegetable garden and a wood refreshed by its own pond. Inside, only 6 suites offer spacious accommodation (up to 120 m2) and a perfect blend of antique furnishings and contemporary comfort. Down below, the château courtyard features a large heated swimming pool, perfect for laps, unless you prefer to join the tennis courts, basketball court or fitness room and spa nestled in the dovecote. A special mention must be made of the dinners (on request) served in the château's large dining room, with a cuisine that gives pride of place to produce from the kitchen garden.
