Gault&Millau's review 2025

Golfers swear by this beautiful address, but they're not the only ones, because the Domaine du Roncemay has that rare luxury of combining all the assets. A 140-hectare park alternating meadows and undergrowth, an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and an 800 m2 spa (Biologique Recherche et Kos Paris) with hammam, sauna, treatment and massage rooms, fitness room and even yoga sessions. These are just some of the privileges that make this 19th-century manor house a destination in its own right, with 21 rooms and suites blending contemporary touches with antique woodwork. The latest addition is Le Roncemay, a bistro and gourmet restaurant with a lovely terrace, led by new chefs Virginie Jacquet and Anish Chourey, who give pride of place to Puisaye produce.
