On the banks of the Dordogne, this inn has its feet almost in the water, with its view, sober, almost Breton decor, and Thomas L'Hérisson's beautiful dishes, as much on land as on the coast. The dishes reflect all the experience of the chef, who has worked with the likes of Frechon and Marx, on masterly seasonal compositions: sautéed squid and seasonal vegetables, wasabi mayonnaise, lemon caviar and kombu seaweed tsukudani, oysters ostra régal wrapped in bacon, royale de foie gras et noisettes grillées, velouté de potimarron et batônets de pomme verte, ris de veau marinated in miso and pan-fried in butter, tomato confit et purée d'haricots cocos et jus de veau, un glacé au praliné de pignon de pin enveloppé de melon, confit de cassis, lait fermenté et sauge. Excellent cellar with over five hundred references.
