Gault&Millau's review 2025

Not far from Bergerac, this guest house is the ideal refuge for renewed optimism and energy. Designed by Dutch couple Alexander and Esther Hendriksen, the house is reminiscent of a family home, cheerful and full of life. We love the warm welcome from our hosts, the elegance and invigorating colors of the 5 bedrooms (a special mention for "L'Orientale", with its straw yellows and intense blues) and, above all, the breathtaking view over the surrounding orchards. Nature enthusiasts and adventure-seeking children can even join one of the two tents set up in the mini-camping area amidst the cherry trees. And everyone meets up for dinner at the large table d'hôtes, where you can enjoy delicious home cooking prepared with local produce.
