Gault&Millau's review

16.5/20
Remarkable Restaurant Better than Cadet Rousselle, Frédéric Anton added a fourth house to his portfolio last autumn. And even better than the hero of the song, his four restaurants are among the most beautiful in Paris, and undoubtedly the most prestigious in the capital. A yacht, a five-star restaurant in the Bois de Boulogne, a farmhouse, a model country inn on the outskirts of Paris, and then... the Eiffel Tower. And that's all there is to it! The restaurant that thrills the world! 125 m high, the most breathtaking 360° view. Depending on the table, you're facing Montmartre, the Étoile or the Invalides, the whole city is at your feet, and the great Eiffelian machinery, that of the orchestra imagined by the master of ceremonies, is in motion. Noble products, too, Anton-style, magnified, dressed in light, in majesty: lobster perfumed with vanilla granny and olive oil in "zéphyr"; chanterelle, very gourmand, very enticing, with yellow wine, on a galette soufflée with old Comté cheese; langoustine, prepared in raviole and shared by three of the four tables, cream of parmesan, varied by the jelly forming a veil, here with beet: turbot looks simple, au naturel, with a beurre blanc with yuzu and a few grains of osciètre, but it's simply prepared to perfection by the teams of Adrien Delcourt, the "Antonian" chef who returned to the fold after a stint in Australia. The lamb is impeccable, with its fatty juices and clean-cut cooking, and the rhubarb dessert is full of tangy freshness, before the essential chocolate soufflé and cocoa nib ice cream. Everything is done to give tourists from the four corners of the globe the impression that for one evening they are kings of the world, from the private elevator to the attentions of an entire staff, our neighbors from Minnesota are subjugated and shudder when, every hour from 10pm (11pm in summer), the tower twinkles. The cellar is vast, the sommelier very good and available; the package including this wonderful ceremony costs no more than a day at Disneyland.
