Superb, complex nose of yellow fruit and lemon balm. On the palate, the wine cannot be reduced to its dosage: it is above all a great Champagne wine. Round, of course, full-bodied, but never heavy, it retains an acidic freshness on the finish that beckons a mature sheep's cheese. Splendid.
