Created from a blend of the 2000 and 2001 vintages, this anniversary cuvée represents an assertive style: that of champagnes produced by long aging, whose controlled oxidation is a richness. The nose of currants, dried fruit and spices is reminiscent of the finest Château-Chalon, followed by a palate with millimetric bubbles, a structure that is more tracing than enveloping, and great length. A champagne for discerning connoisseurs only, to be paired with a fine morel mushroom platter.
