A pioneer of biodynamic viticulture on the Côte des Bar since 1989, the Fleury estate has continued to evolve toward practices that are ever more respectful of its vines and wines. Through agroforestry, horse-drawn plowing, and the reintroduction of forgotten grape varieties, Jean-Sébastien, Benoît, and Morgane—the fourth generation at the helm of the estate—have continued the work begun by their father, Jean-Pierre. On their 15 hectares of vineyards in Courteron, Pinot Noir reigns supreme. Over the decades, by crafting expressive wines with strong personalities, the estate has firmly established itself among the elite of Champagne.
