To the eye, it looks more like Provence than Champagne, so light-colored is it. But the Champagne hallmarks are in place from the very first aromas, with a lovely nose that's both floral and fruity, thanks to pink citrus and white fruit with a hint of pepper in the background. Freshness, tonicity and an assertive sweetness all contribute to a pleasant mouthfeel that finishes with little bitters reminiscent of English sweets.
