Gault&Millau's review 2026

Formerly of the Buerehiesel, Paul Iacono opened this restaurant in 2023 with his wife Delphine, quickly establishing himself as one of the best addresses in the Robertsau. The cuisine may be traditional, but the technique used, the taste for good food and the generosity of the house perfectly explain its renown. Familiar flavors are faithfully reproduced and sublimated: the famous Ackerland bolster, pâté en croûte and signature dish of the house, fried carp goujonnettes, tartar sauce and Grumbeere Salad, Duwehoff squab, breast roasted on the chest, confit legs and jus de braisage, glazed vegetables and potato galette, and finally a kougelhopf perdu, compote of Alsace mirabelles, Jersiaise ice cream with Madagascar vanilla. Very warm atmosphere and good direction by Delphine.
