Chef's Restaurant Jeanne and David have combined the first letters of their first names for this young sharing brand, which sets the tone for an inn in the city, where you are warmly welcomed while respecting the codes of modern gastronomy. A great deal of research and inventiveness go into the striking appetizers, such as the revisited dampfnüdel on a summer truffle onion soup with Piedmont hazelnut, trout and daikon melon glazed with Vosges seeds, or squab, trunk on a spit and leg stuffed with kumquat condiment, miso eggplant, sage-scented pigeon glaze and büwespaetzle. The bill climbs with the quality of the service (€118 for a five-course lunch menu, but with many extras, including a mirabelle plum gewurztraminer honey and saffron dessert), a concierge service to help you prepare for your visit, and an already extensive wine cellar also conducive to prior pairings.
