Gault&Millau's review 2025

In the Wacken district, just a stone's throw from the European Parliament and a 10-minute streetcar ride from the Old Town, this ultra-contemporary hotel is a winner. It's all down to its light-filled spaces and Japanese-style decor - muted colors, sleek furniture... A well-tempered minimalism that also infuses the 170 comfortable, spacious rooms, with beautiful woodwork and large picture windows, some of which offer a view of the city, with the cathedral as a backdrop. Guests come here to enjoy an urban atmosphere, both chic and friendly, but also to discover L'Archipel - one of Strasbourg's finest restaurants, led by the young and (very) talented Garry Baud. The restaurant's adjoining bar and Library Café offer a 360° view of the city.
