Behind its guinguette airs, Laurent Helleu's restaurant is a true gastronomic establishment, offering top-notch seafood cuisine right on the beach in Cancale. If the place is as lively as a troquet, the conviviality doesn't take the place of what's on the plate: warm oysters, Cancale leeks and buckwheat, gambas, creamy bell pepper and saffron juice, octopus confit, eggplant and smoked chili, aumônière of caramelized apple crêpes, salted butter caramel ice cream.
