Sponsored Dieppe is France's leading port for scallops, and since last spring has been home to Le Petit Léon, whose chef prepares the town's flagship product to perfection. This new bistronomic address from Julie Quillan and Thomas Maieli invites you to feel good in a setting that's part beach café, part regulars' hangout. Either way, you're in good company with the fine folks and bon vivants who come to enjoy the fresh, seafaring and highly inspired cuisine of Thomas Maieli, a true culinary star with an impressive track record. The menu includes scallop tartare with pomegranate vinaigrette or shrimp with yuzu, a land and sea version of scallops with sweetbreads, cocoa bean sauce and aniseed vegetables, bouillabaisse dieppoise - with local fish and seafood - or simply a salmon waffle. The menu evolves with the arrival of new arrivals and the Chef's whims. To be enjoyed with an elegant, easy-drinking wine, a perfect reflection of the house spirit. When the weather's fine, the restaurant's opening hours are extended. What a delight!
