Gault&Millau's review 2025

Close to Étretat and set in 11 hectares of parkland, this 18th-century mansion was once the summer residence of Empress Elisabeth of Austria. Listed as a historic monument, it has preserved its former splendor and is home to 26 rooms and 2 suites decorated with floral fabrics, antique furniture and waxed parquet floors. A spa with hammam, sauna and massage cabins, and a full range of wellness weekend packages are available. A special mention must also go to the Château's gourmet menu, which focuses on local produce, with a few exotic touches thrown in for good measure.
