Remarkable Restaurant A magnificent contemporary house in the suburbs of Rennes, like an exotic garden in the heart of Brittany. With its guest rooms, swimming corridor and flora, the place is a change of scenery for sunny days; while Ronan Kervarrec's inspiring regional cuisine takes us back to Brittany. The chef plays with form and substance, creating racy, flavorful compositions. His souvenir menu is a journey through time and space, with buckwheat galette and Guéméné andouille with ribot milk, peach prawns, Roscoff onion with white balsamic, Breton kombu and jus au naturel, octopus and squid à la braise, fennel with pastis and aïoli, pollack stuffed with nori, cockles and periwinkles, beurre blanc, a dessert back from the islands with vanilla, rum and coconut. Menus from €69 to €280.
