Gourmet Restaurant Quì, hè a Corsica! This is the Corsica of the Maquis, with its specialties from the island of Beauty, which for 20 years has been wandering from one street to another in Vieux-Nice. The atmosphere is warm and inviting by the fireplace, and the dishes are polyphonic, with a wide range of recipes that travel between the island and the mainland without losing any of their authenticity, starting with prisuttu, a ham from the Cozzano region in the south, or fish soup made from locally caught rock fish, 10-hour lamb shoulder or red mullet risotto with bouillabaisse sauce. For lunch or dinner, the two menus at €28 and €39 offer the opportunity to discover new dishes at good prices, such as mushroom ravioli or butternut cream with Corsican chestnuts and pan-fried prawns, the very hearty lentils with figatellu from Zévaco and the incredible desserts by pastry chef Pamela Guzmàn, chestnut soufflé, poached pear with honey (Corsican, of course) and fiadone with good farmhouse brocciu in cheesecake style and mandarin sorbet. On top of that, you can have a patrimonio or a figari, but the 80 or so other references are just waiting for you in the basement next to the charcuterie, which takes its time and dries quietly.
