Gourmet Restaurant Bistrots are happily duplicated in Vieux Nice, and it's easy to envy the locals and tourists who benefit from such an offer. There are strong similarities with their neighbors, but also a consistent quality that provides a real good price-pleasure ratio: artichoke in three ways, brandade de morue coulis poivron et chorizo, ravioli du jour (a local specialty) spinach mushrooms smoked brisket jus de viande, confit paleron de veau sauce vin rouge... With dessert, you're still well under €50, and the service is attentive.
