For many Niçois, it's the city's most beautiful palace, with its impressive Belle Époque façade and its position slightly set back from the Promenade des Anglais, giving it a unique panorama: views of the gardens, the reds and ochres of Vieux-Nice, the lofty silhouette of the Alps and, of course, the bluish waters of the Mediterranean. After a four-year renovation by Nice architects Jean-Paul Gomis and London design studio David Collins, the former Plaza de Nice reopened its doors in December 2022, now owned by Asian group Minor... 151 luxurious rooms and suites (with private terraces on the upper floors), top-flight dining with Olivier's Seen table, breathtaking views from the Rooftop Bar Seen, and a spa with hammam, sauna and treatment rooms now make up the offering of this palace, which has succeeded in acquiring contemporary refinement, while jealously preserving its historic charms.
