Gourmet Restaurant In the maze of Vieux Nice, it's not always easy to separate the wheat from the chaff when looking for the right plan. Armed with the right guidebook, you're likely to come across Lavomatique, which, under the deceptively bobo air of a trendy restaurant, actually hides a wealth of delights designed to reconcile you with the tourist spots. A cellar that's essentially natural, why not, but that only brings together excellent winegrowers (with a nice selection by the glass), and a menu that invites you to travel and indulge, between a plate of falafels, fried fresh anchovies or pork ribs with spicy ketchup. You'll be sharing, smiling and having a great time in this happy drummer's nest, without coming away wrung out.
