Gourmet Restaurant One of the oldest restaurants in Vieux-Nice is still going strong at almost one hundred years of age. Although Palmyre Moni is no longer with us, we owe this constancy to chef Vincent Verneveaux who, taking the best from his masters Guy Savoy, Jacques Maximin and Jean-Jacques Jouteux, has managed to preserve the soul of the place and offer bistro-style cuisine that's right at home. The three-course €22 menu, which changes every three weeks, is to be taken seriously: œuf en meurette, stuffed cabbage, beef shank pot-au-feu, squash gnocchi, pear-apple crumble, Paris-Brest... Make a reservation if you want to sit at the sharing table (or any table for that matter), and let yourself be carried away by the magic of the place and perhaps also by the small bottle of wine at €6.
