Description
Sponsored In the Presqu'île district, on the banks of the Saône, facing Old Lyon and the Saint-Antoine market, the Bistrot de la Passerelle is a 40-year-old institution, taken over in 2018 by Julien Maes. From the moment you enter, you're immersed in the atmosphere and charm of a typical bistro: wooden furniture, leather banquettes, mirrors... Here, you can enjoy traditional, convivial cuisine: homemade terrine, marrow bones, gravlax salmon, stewed dishes, sweetbreads en meunière... but also generous dishes to share, such as giant cordon bleu, poule au pot or 7 o'clock leg of lamb. The exceptional seafood platters you can enjoy from Friday to Sunday have also made the house's reputation. Chef Julien is dedicated to concocting comforting and generous dishes, renewed seasonally with fresh produce from the nearby market, authentic delights for your taste buds. Here, the terrace is open all year round, with a breathtaking view of the Fourvière basilica and the departures of river cruises on the Saône.
