A vintage of consummate freshness. Very Krug in spirit, this edition combines freshness, fruitiness and complexity. Notes of fresh citrus open the festivities, then give way to an evolving aromatic complexity: candied citrus, cake, bread, then brioche and fine honey. On the palate, the wine is generous, with a full-bodied mid-palate and a lively, citrusy freshness on the finish. A vintage that's ready today, but with the ageing potential we love so much about this great House. Grandiose.
