This 162nd vintage was created around the 2006 vintage, and it's a pleasure to taste it again now. The nose is splendid: at once complex, evolved and still very young. The fruit seems more tapped than stewed, and the spices barely sprinkled. On the palate, the wine is greedy and opulent, with notes of fresh grapes, candied grapes, white sugar and a finely chalky finish. A true delight.
