Laurent Fresnet, the cellar master, always releases magnums six years after the bottles. This one will be released when this guide is published at the end of 2017. Low dosage, this vintage is fine and complex on fresh butter, citrus, and a few hints of dried fruit begin to emerge. On the palate, creaminess and balance prevail, with a slightly more pronounced evolution than on the nose. This 2005 has the racy finish of great champagnes.
