This cuvée is the brainchild of Gilles de Larouzière, President of the company. During a tasting of vins clairs, he decided to isolate the vat that would most appeal to the committee and create a cuvée from it. Against all odds, in 2016, it was a parcel of Avize that won all the votes: the cuvée Inattendue was chosen. This is a true white wine with a distinct personality. At once rich, bewitching and enveloping, it retains the taut, mineral structure that characterizes the village. Particularly racy, with a touch of rock water, this cuvée will be a wonderful discovery.
