An astonishing vintage that we wouldn't have bet on. But the wine opens with fine aromas of chanterelle, mirabelle plum, fine honey and dried herbs, followed by lovely toasted notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and rich, while retaining a framework of chalky acidity that carries it magnificently. Enjoy on its own or with a king crab, avocado and caviar.
