What a delicious nose! Everything that makes this champagne so gourmet is present: pastry notes, almond cream, warm cookie and tarte tatin, sweet spices (cumin, smoked white pepper). So yes, it's evolved. Yes, it's rich and generous. But not without a freshness that prevents it from sinking into over-ripeness. Just the fullness and elegance of an old Champagne that takes shape in a generous body. A powerful, fresh and perfectly balanced wine that will appeal to lovers of old champagnes as well as to beginners in this category.
