A woody first impression greets the nose with scents of sandalwood and birch fire, quickly overtaken by aromas of ripe fruit, pear juice and white flowers. The palate is calmer, with body and small tannins that add structure. Juicy white fruit notes are combined with a delicate effervescence. Clearly a gourmet wine to accompany creamy poultry or blanquette de veau.
