It's a vintage claimed as such, even though all our wines are made in the Burgundian style, i.e. on a single terroir and in a single year. This wine has also spent more than three years on lees, as required by law, much to our delight. Very complex and fine, this 2009 presents a balanced, aromatic palette of fruit and minerality. We'll enjoy this champagne as an aperitif, but especially with a carpaccio of scallops with lime.
