It's already been 5 years since Baptiste Renouard opened Ochre in Rueil, and he's doing it again here on the esplanade of the Avelines market. Continuous service, from breakfast to dinner, in a very pleasant, modern and warm setting. Some of the chef's favorite gimmicks, such as snail cromesquis and the memory of a hot chocolate, can be found here. The veal and poultry pâté en croûte is served generously, the veal sweetbread with its full-bodied verjuice jus is both gourmet and well controlled, ending this pretty sequence in freshness with the elderflower-frosted peach. Good options, both vegetarian (tomato and cherry gazpacho, light ricotta cream) and high-protein with the fine entrecote or 5J pork. Friendly service, good choice of wines by the glass.
