Prestige Hotel
In the heart of Ville-d’Avray, once a favorite retreat for artists in the 19th century, this romantic hotel seems to float on the water’s surface, overlooking the ponds named in honor of the painter Camille Corot. The 42 rooms and suites exude the same poetic and refined atmosphere, featuring décor by Christophe Bachmann—antique furniture, shades of green and ochre that blend with Pierre Frey wallpapers and life-size paintings by Corot. Highly prized as well for its culinary delights, the property is home to the gourmet restaurant Le Corot, led by Rémi Chambard; the delightful bistro Le Café des Artistes; and Les Paillottes, located in Ville-d’Avray’s historic open-air café.
