A gourmet spot that draws in locals from Boulogne and beyond. Emile Cotte offers a bourgeois bistro-style cuisine that blends rustic and refined elements; his dishes are tempting and generous, whether from the à la carte or set menus: a thick slice of duck pâté en croûte, green chili peppers, and pickled red onions—followed by a gargantuan “cardinal” vol-au-vent filled with lamb sweetbreads, offal, rooster combs, white blood sausage, lobster, mushrooms, and truffles—a pure moment of pleasure for any food lover! To finish, a light treat: kiwi-lime-ginger sorbet pavlova. To accompany the meal, a wine list offering a wide selection of wines from independent winemakers at very reasonable prices. Friendly staff.
