Gault&Millau's review 2026

No fusion cuisine, even if the name suggests otherwise. Just effusive! There are so many regulars and friends at this new address, strategically located opposite the Criée covered market, that we like to slap each other on the cheek. This is where Louise Aillet - in the kitchen - and Coline Martiniault - in the dining room - have opened their luminous, warm and lively table, furnished without excess. Here, you'll enjoy fresh, simple suggestions that reflect a genuine savoir-faire based on products sourced as close to home as possible, even if you only have to cross the street. Beautiful grilled green asparagus is adorned with creamy yoghurt and a profusion of herbs, while the exquisite sausage - perfect in texture and seasoning - comes straight from the neighboring charcutier (Maison Boullé). The much-anticipated mashed potato accompaniment is really good, and the well dug into the center of the dish collects real cooking juices. As for the dessert, it's generous and delicious, in the form of an apple-pear crumble and a white chocolate ganache. The smiling service doesn't let itself be overwhelmed, and the wine list, drawn up in collaboration with excellent Rennes wine merchants, does the trick: muscadet domaine Huteau, IGP du Gard from Château Saint-Cyrgues, vin blanc de pays d'oc from Stéphanie and Olivier Ramé, Bourgueil from Pierre Borel, côtes-du-rhône from domaine de la Cabotte, bandol les Terres Promises...
