Gault&Millau's review 2026

On the Cours, the handsome Hôtel Negrecoste boasts a welcoming brasserie with a fairly classic generalist offering of salads, pastas, bistro repertoire and home-cooked dishes. Behind the rather banal catalog headings, particular care is taken with the dishes, such as the gnocchetti with truffles (more a selling point than a real enchanting aroma) or the very good and generous pot-au-feu (too bad the cook can't control the cooking time of the marrow bone). Good service, involved and attentive, classic cellar, well-stocked with wines from the region, from the negociants, but also some good proprietors (Chevrot, Courbis...).
