Ronan Kernen, the Breton so well acclimatized to life in Aix-en-Provence, has beautifully arranged his Petite Ferme, his second establishment, with an eye-catching storefront and a dining room arranged in relaxed chic mode. This is the kind of modern-day cuisine that everyone loves, with smart starters and braised dishes: mimosa egg with trout, seafood vol-au-vent, ceviche with scallops, before getting down to business with Argentine entrecôte, picanha and suckling pig on the spit. Signature dishes include truffled cordon bleu-style veal and, regularly, a good and interesting lunch menu at €33.
